School Council

What we do

Our School Council is made up of pupils who want to help others and make our school the best it can be. School councillors support their classmates, help people when they need it, and work to create a happy, safe environment for everyone. They also welcome visitors, share information about our school, and act as a link between the school and the wider community.

As part of the School Council team, pupils look for ways to help others. This includes supporting children who may be having friendship or bullying worries, encouraging kindness around the school, and sharing ideas from their classmates about how to improve school life. Councillors make sure everyone has a voice by bringing suggestions—like new clubs or activities—to the council meetings.

Looking to the future, our School Council has lots of exciting ideas. They want to promote kindness, be helpful role models, and work on creating fun spaces where pupils can play and get along. They have suggested organising new clubs, including ones led by School Council members during lunch or break times. They also hope to meet more people in the community, take part in activities such as litter picking, and visit the care home at Christmas time.
